Join us on the sand as the sun sets and the New Moon rises for a deeply grounding evening of movement, music, and intention. This is a time to slow down, turn inward, and plant seeds for what you’re ready to call into your life—all through the power of embodied movement.

With wireless headphones, you’ll enter a shared yet personal soundscape, free to move, release, and reconnect under the open sky. As daylight fades into night, we dance in the fertile stillness of the New Moon—an energy that invites reflection, renewal, and new beginnings.

Ecstatic Dance is part of a global movement where there are no steps to follow and no experience needed—just an open invitation to listen to your body and move in whatever way feels true.

Together, we create a welcoming, judgment-free space to reset your nervous system, clear what no longer serves, and align with what’s next.

What to expect:
• Silent disco headphones with an immersive DJ journey
• A short opening to ground, reflect, and set intention
• Sunset dancing on the sand
• A gentle closing under the night sky

Guidelines:
• No talking on the dance floor
• No phones or photos
• Move however your body wishes
• Respect yourself and others

Bring water, comfortable clothes, and your beautiful self.

FAQs — Tuesday Silent Disco Ecstatic Dance at Lido Beach

Is parking difficult at Lido Beach?
No — parking is usually very easy for this dance because most beach visitors have already left by sunset. There is typically plenty of nearby parking available.

Should I arrive early?
Yes. Arriving early is highly encouraged so you have time to check in, get fitted with your silent disco headphones, settle into the space, and fully participate in the opening circle and intention setting.

Do I need dance experience?
Not at all. Ecstatic Dance is completely freeform with no choreography or expectations. You can move as much or as little as feels right for you.

How does the silent disco work?
You’ll receive wireless headphones connected to the live DJ mix, creating an immersive personal sound experience while still dancing together as a group.

Can I move around the beach during the dance?
Absolutely. One of the most beautiful parts of this experience is the freedom to explore the environment while dancing. The headphones have a strong range, allowing you to move throughout the beach space comfortably.

Can I dance in the water or near the rocks?
Yes. Many participants enjoy moving barefoot through the sand, standing near the shoreline, dancing on the rocks, or even stepping into the water. The natural landscape becomes part of the dance experience.

What makes the beach setting special?
Dancing outdoors at sunset with the ocean, breeze, sand, and moonlight creates a deeply grounding and freeing experience that feels very different from a traditional indoor dance space.

What kind of music is played?
The DJ guides a flowing sound journey blending electronic, world, tribal, sacred, ambient, bass, and rhythmic music designed to support movement, emotional release, and connection.

Can I just listen and relax instead of dancing?
Yes. You are welcome to walk the shoreline, sit in meditation, stretch, watch the sunset, or simply enjoy the music through your headphones.

What should I bring?
Bring water, comfortable clothes, and anything you’d normally want for the beach. Most people dance barefoot.

Is this event family friendly?
Yes. Respectful participants of all backgrounds are welcome in this community-centered space.

What is the opening circle?
The opening circle is a short grounding moment where the group gathers together to arrive intentionally, connect as a community, and set the tone for the dance journey ahead.
