Sarasota Contact Improv is the perfect complement to ecstatic dance—helping you feel more comfortable with connection, movement, boundaries, and physical expression before stepping onto the dance floor. Led by DJ Kat, this donation-based Saturday workshop creates a supportive space to release fear, build trust, and develop deeper body awareness through guided partner movement and improvisation. Many dancers find that contact improv helps them feel more grounded, open, expressive, and connected during ecstatic dance experiences afterward.
